Modern technology's expressiveness of design (especially the internet) feels like it's collapsed into only so many ways to get people to spend money. It's irritating, exhausting, and inhuman—everything good design shouldn't be.

I treasure visual and semantic simplicity, but I try to cram as much flavor and humanity into what I make as I can. I'm inspired by a wide range of kitschy, counter-cultural styles including Bauhaus, Memphis, and the frontier of the internet in the 1990s and early 2000s.

I love doing static sites, business materials (cards, menus, you name it), and UI. I've done many iterations of sites for my endeavors as well as some work for local businesses. Email me at caleb @ this web address and we can figure something out.
